Head & Neck Cancer Reconstructon

The use of three dimensional planning greatly has greatly improved functional & cosmetic outcomes following removal of diseased tissue from the head and neck. As well as improving the reconstruction, the operating time is reduced as all the areas to be removed and reconstructed has been pre-planned with surgical guides developed with special software based on the CT scans taken preoperatively. In most cases everything fits like a jigsaw due to the planning accuracy.
